How to do Gothic Halloween Makeup
Introduction:
In this article I am going to explain you about this Gothic makeup for this Halloween. You need to make this look really dark and black so for that make sure to use all matte products. If you like dark makeup and black look with black dress then this makeup is only for you.
Things you need:
- Primer
- Foundation
- Concealer
- Translucent powder
- Dark eye shadow palette
- Black liquid eye liner
- Black gel eye liner
- Mascara
- Thick lashes
- Highlighter
- Contour
- Matte black lipstick
Let’s start makeup:
Step: 1
Start with basic makeup that you normally do. First apply primer on your face. Then apply full coverage foundation to get even skin. Then go with concealer. At the end set everything with setting powder.
Step: 2
Then take lighter shade from the eye shadow palette and apply it as transition shade. Apply it into the crease and also extend it to close to the brow bone.
Step: 3
Then take matte black and dark gray shade together and apply in the socket of the eye. Then pack the lid with matte deep red shadow. Then take matte dark purple shadow and blend out into the outer half of the lid. Then with big fluffy brush blend out everything.
Step: 4
Then with black liquid liner line the eyes and winged out the shape. Make your eye liner thick because you need more dramatic look. Then apply fake lashes and mascara.
Step: 5
Then apply highlighter on the center of the face, basically on the forehead, chin, cupid’s bow. Then use darker shade as contour and apply on the cheekbone, to down near chin and jawline area. Then with beauty blender blend everything nicely. To chisel your cheekbones more put highlighter underneath of the dark shade and blend out.
Step: 6
As another brightener and also setting powder use translucent powder and apply it on all over the face. Make sure that nothing is shiny or glossy looking because you need full matte look for this makeup.

Then do your lips with matte black lipstick. If you don’t have matte black then you can use your black liquid liner to get the perfect and long lasting matte lips.

Then do your brows with black. Then take that black shadow and apply it to your lower lash liner. Also use light shade to inner corner of the eyes to make them pop.
Step: 9
Then with black liner make a line where the lashes grow on lower lash line, not on waterline. And drag that line little lower to your tear duct to make the inner corners of the eyes look wider.
Step: 10
Then with that black eye liner draw the moon shape to the center of your forehead. Then go in with black gel liner to make it look extra dark. For perfect shape first draw outline and the fill it in.
